Solid Tasmanian Oak floating shelves, made to order in our Adelaide workshop. Available in a range of lengths and depths to suit your space, with concealed mounting hardware included for a clean, simple finish.
Each shelf is sanded smooth and finished in a satin clear coat to bring out the natural colour and grain of the timber. As Tasmanian Oak is a natural product, grain and colour will vary from shelf to shelf.
Made to order
Allow two weeks for your shelf to be made before dispatch. Delivery time is additional and depends on your location.
Shelf thickness and fixings
Each shelf is approximately 32–34mm thick and supplied with concealed mounting pins. The pins fit inside the shelf, leaving no visible brackets once installed. Mounting pins must be spaced no more than 500mm apart, measured from centre to centre.
Optional pre-drilling
Choose pre-drilled mounting holes or leave your shelf undrilled. If you select pre-drilling, we’ll confirm the hole positions with you before drilling so they suit your installation.
Installation
Mounting pins must be secured to suitable structural supports or masonry using fixings appropriate for your wall. Once the pins are secured, the shelf slides over them for a clean, floating finish. Contact us before ordering if you’re unsure about suitability for your wall type.
